Public bug reported:
After switching on (Notebook Dell Inspiron 1100) and login no network
connections are possible.
I have set up WLAN and LAN before and they are working fine, but only as long
as i don´t reboot...
I have saved the settings under different names, "default" per example, but
it´s still the same as before.
I am forced to go to the network setting and choose the location "default"
manually, afterwards
everything is working well.
Wireless LAN card is a PCMCIA from "Belkin" and the proprietary driver
is installed and is working.
Besides:
It was not possible to setup the notebook with version 7.10.
The setup with version 6.10 did it, but it was time consuming to upgrade the
system via internet.
Is it possible that the notebook is no longer supported in the versions after
6.10?
Best regards an thanks in advance
Sascha P.
