broken core feature justifies high importance. milestoning for final
release accordingly. testcase attached.
** Changed in: epiphany-browser (Ubuntu)
Importance: Low => High
Target: None => ubuntu-8.04
** Summary changed:
- pop-up dialogs do not work
+ pop-up dialogs do not work (window.alert broken)
** Description changed:
Binary package hint: epiphany
+
+ Testcase: attached.
+ Expected result: testcase should open an altert dialog
+ Actual result: nothing happens.
+
+ -------------
Pop-up dialogs does not show in GNOME epiphany-browser 2.21.90.
If page needs to ask user with javascript with an pop-up dialog, whether
it is a simple "OK/Cancel" or entry field dialog, the pop-up window just
does not show.
I cannot delete pictures on flickr.com (it asks me "Are you sure?", but
the question does not show), I cannot edit my feeds on Google Reader (it
asks me for the name I wish to assign to a feed, but the window does not
show), etc.
I launched firefox which gecko Epiphany uses, and the requestor pop-ups
works fine there. So I guess it is a problem with Epiphany interface not
with underlying gecko.
