Hi Chuck 2008/2/27, Chuck Short > Hi Arnaud, > > What is the status of this tool?
postponed to 2.4 (the major feature for this release, along with a shiny new doc). I'm currently finishing the Integrated Power Management, which was a big task. Check: https://blueprints.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+spec/integrated-usb-ups-support The last commit (DBus method to allow at least the UPS poweroff) will be done tomorrow and backported to Testing for 2.2.2 (this was the last remaining point). About this specific point, one can modify a bit the debs so that the sample are installed in sysconfdir, instead of the doc/examples dir. Possibly modifying a bit more the default to limit the configuration needs. Finally, you may consider adding nut to the dialout group to make the user's task easier. A last note: 2.2.2 will so enter pre release stage by friday. And it fixes some important bugs / regressions. -- Arnaud -- no sane default configuration https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/85598 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
