I tested this and noticed the same thing. When Scribus is not minimized
I only get one entry when switching windows with alt+tab, but when it is
minimized I got as many as 12 windows. When using the ring switcher I
could also see different titles of the windows and it seems like I got
one window entry for each window in the Windows menu and also Style
Manager.
When I tried turning off Desktop effects I saw only one entry for
Scribus regardless of if it was minimized or not. When turning on
Desktop effects again I only got two Scribus windows to choose between
(the current document and also Style Manager).
I cannot say for sure whether this bug is in Compiz or in Scribus, but
only exposed when Desktop effects are turned on. I can at least confirm
it.
