i tried to reproduce this bug.
Yes, it seems that gaim will crash when we *quit*.
I don't know why (i didn't try to backtrace it ATM).
I can confirm that the problem is in the galago plugin (i get the same
error of Tolan).
BTW, galago works, if you try to get the status of a contact you will
get it.
