Daniel: If I understand this correctly, there should be a transition but getting this version into Ubuntu won't break anything, as the stuff that will be in libdialog-dev is still in dialog (the only change is that dialog now provides libdialog-dev, in order to smoothen the transition). IMHO the best would be to just sync this (as it will help once packages start depending on libdialog-dev, for backports and such) and let Debian do the transition. Or am I missing anything?
