I got this bug in Hardy. Yet, what is more interesting, now after week I can't change even wired network settings, as they got dropped silently too, in similar behaviour.
Question is - do this happens on clean install? I have Hardy from Alpha 3 and have updated it regularly. As I know, usually such strange bugs usually appears when buggy updates happens. My testing session with gst guys at #gst channel in freenode suggest that system-tools-backends with policykit is to blame. Changes don't get authorisated, even if authorisation with user and password is successful in the begining. I will try to do this with clean user and clean install and then will confirm is this really a bug. -- [hardy] network-admin doesn't save PPP device settings and silently drop them https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/193661 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
