Actually, I don't think this bug is valid. I think it's being caused by
bug 57716. The lack of fglrx.ko invokes fglrx's fallback mode, which I
know corrupts the VT's at the cost of 2D working X.
As soon as that bug is fixed, I can say for sure whether or not my
consoles are back. Keeping this NEEDSINFO for now.
