Thanks for your bug submission. When you have a new installation, there
are several databases that get created. This can take a long time.
It's possible that your machine froze because of this activity. The rt
in the kernel means real-time so it devotes less time to mouse and
keyboard interrupts.
It would help to open a terminal and run top. Watch the CPU activity.
Also add a CPU monitor to your panel--Right-Click--Add on the panel.
See if the keyboard freeze is linked to 100% CPU usage. Also note what
program is running and eating up your CPU.
