Binary package hint: epiphany-browser
I have a router that redirects any HTTP/DNS requests to its status page
when not connected to the internet. When I open up epiphany and try to
load my startpage www.my.start.page.tld it will be redirected to the IP-
address of the router. So Epiphany thinks everything worked and
obviously caches that DNS request. Reloading the page or reentering the
complete address will always show me the router status page, even when
the router connects to the internet and new DNS requests would resolve
to the correct IP. I have to close the tab, end clear the cache manually
before I can visit www.my.start.page.tld. I expect epiphany to reresolve
the IP address when I issue a reload.
No nscd is running. Resolving domains that have not already been cached
works as expected after connecting.
