Binary package hint: displayconfig-gtk
When I failed to get my TV on my laptop, after a reboot GDM wouldn't
come up. Instead I was presented with displayconfig-gtk, but in a
resolution that rendered the fontsize about 3 pixels high. I couldn't
read any option I was presented with. It looked like displayconfig-gtk
assumed it was in 800x600 resolution where in reality it was displayed
in my laptops native (1440x900) resolution.
