Binary package hint: kino
Kino is the only easy (user friendly) video editor program for Linux
It should be updated to latest version as hardy will be LTS
The current version on ubuntu repos is 1.1.1 from last year august. Getdeb site
already build a deb file for 1.3.0 version.
