I am using an Intel card. This is the relevant bit in xorg.conf:
Section "Device"
Identifier "Configured Video Device"
Driver "intel"
# Option "AccelMethod" "xaa"
EndSection
It seems the commented line was causing the problem, cause commenting it
solved it. I added it following advice on the forums, to solve some
performance issues.
