This is very important!  As Mark has demonstrated, it is easy to do this
by accident, even if you are experienced!  Simply hitting Enter or the
spacebar too soon could also do it!

"rm" should be aliased to "rm --preserve-root -i" by default!  Please
make this change in Hardy!
