Binary package hint: gnome-control-center
Since xrandr is not rock stable yet, it would be nice if the gnome-
display-properties dialog would ask for change acknowledgment after the
new settings are applied, and revert automatically to the previous ones
after a delay (like windows does, for examples). At least it would help
when the x server has not crashed completely... :)
