Public bug reported:

After upgrading from Kubuntu 7.10 to Kubuntu Hardy Alpha 5 Released the

"Citrix Presentation Server Client for Linux Version 10.6.115659"

did not start anymore:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ /home/r794/ICAClient/linuxx86/wfcmgr -icaroot
/home/r794/ICAClient/linuxx86
/home/r794/ICAClient/linuxx86/wfcmgr: error while loading shared libraries:
libXm.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$

After installing the package libmotif3 which contains llibXm.so.3
everything worked again:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ sudo apt-get -s install libmotif3

1.
I am pretty sure that the package libmotif3 was installed before I did the
upgrade to
Kubuntu Hardy Alpha 5 by using "sudo update-manager -d". However, searching the
upgrade logs
in /var/log/dist-upgrade does not reveal any activity for package libmotif3, so
I am bit puzzled:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/var/log/dist-upgrade$ ls -al
total 560
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 2008-03-02 15:16 .

2.
Although the "Citrix Presentation Server Client for Linux Version 10.6.115659"
works again,
there is another problem with the (Citrix) ICA plugin in firefox 3.0b3. An
attempt to open a
citrix session from within firefox 3.0b3 lets the (Citrix) ICA plugin crash as
reported by /var/log/apport:

(..)
apport (pid 6928) Sun Mar 2 17:36:53 2008: called for pid 6927, signal 6
apport (pid 6928) Sun Mar 2 17:36:53 2008: executable:
/home/r794/ICAClient/linuxx86/wfcmgr (command line
"/home/r794/ICAClient/linuxx86/wfcmgr -icaroot /home/r794/ICAClient/linuxx86")
apport (pid 6928) Sun Mar 2 17:36:53 2008: executable does not belong to a
package, ignoring
(..)

There are no other error messages available within /var/log regarding this
crash.
However, as the (Citrix) ICA plugin in firefox used to work perfectly with
Kubuntu 7.10,
I assume, that the update to Kubuntu Hardy Alpha 5 Released broke this feature.

Comment Upgrade:
Apart from the Citrix problem described above, the upgrade from
Kubuntu 7.10 to Kubuntu Hardy Alpha 5 by using "sudo update-manager -d" has
worked very smoothly.
