Thanks for your submission.  I agree, both OO and Firefox can be bad
actors in this regard.  I use abiword and gnumeric for most simple
tasks, because OO can be annoying.  I don't know why OO is so persistent
about recovery files and I don't know how to turn it off.  At least with
Firefox, I can cancel the session restore, so it's less annoying.
