Hi,
Thanks for the extra info.
I think there are two possible fixes for this issue.
The problem is the g-c-c checks for "epiphany" in the path.
This is a shell script shipped by the epiphany-browser package
that just execs epiphany-browser. That is an alternative provided
by both -gecko and -webkit. This means that you can have a valid
epiphany installed, but not have "epiphany" in the path.
The two fixes I see are:
1) Switch epiphany to use "epiphany" for the alternative,
and not install the shell script.
2) Switch g-c-c to check for and use "epiphany-browser"
for epiphany.
I'm assigning this bug to both packages so that the maintainers
can come to an agreement.
Thanks,
James
