While installing Ubuntu Edgy on a new machine yesterday, I noticed that
my XFCE session was acting strange (right-click on desktop didn't do
anything, etc.). I examined the ~/.xsession-errors file and found some
error messages that mentioned libgamin. I uninstalled fam and installed
both gamin and libgamin0, and the problems went away.
It looks like some XFCE package (presumably this one) needs to depend on
libgamin0.
