Daniel, first: thanks for the additional info.

As Samuel suggests, it could be the same bug as Bug #182038. This bug is
about graphics showing as a black rectangle.

To see if it is the same bug, could you re-test again? Is the background of the 
webpage (from your screenshot) sometimes also just black? Does it not "update", 
such that if you move the window, it shows the content that has been there 
before on the screen?
Could you also try the following webpage and describe what you see? (black 
rectangles or other graphic errors?

Is it showing correctly with epiphany (maybe therefore you have to
install the package epiphany-browser)?

Also: Are you using the open-source nv-driver? If so, could you install
the proprietary nvidia-driver and re-test?
