Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnome-panel
The present screen resolution is fixed at 1280x1024 and the repeating rate is
55 Hz. I tried several lower resolutions but without success.
Can anybody help me? I'm a user only, no developer!
Michael

Changing of Screen Resolution does not work. The present resolution stays
whatever button I click on.
