The edidfail is not due to xresprobe but rather due to something
incorrect with how your monitor reports its EDID information to the X
server. Refiling against xorg-server.
Please attach your /var/log/Xorg.0.log, /etc/X11/xorg.conf, and the
output of lspci -vvnn
