I have formatted my partitions with reiserfs. Should I expect then, that the upgrade to hardy wont fix it, as described above?
Should then rather add a startup script like this: /etc/rcS.d/S29usplash_timeout.sh #!/bin/sh /sbin/usplash_write "TIMEOUT 60" I have read this in the following duplicate bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/usplash/+bug/22658 -- no visible indication that a long-running fsck is taking place in background https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/38303 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
