JFC, can you please try blacklisting the modules, here's how:
open a terminal, and type "sudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist", add the two
modules using the following syntax:
blacklist module-name
Save and exit gedit once you're done.
If it works, this is a dup of bug 189398, if not, its a separate issue.
