I'm making a couple of vids of the boot-up, so that devs can see whats
going on. It seems that it hangs also without the splashscreen. I will
update the description and summary as soon as I can confirm this.

** Description changed:

As summary says, enabling the splash screen makes hardy sit at the first
- splash screen for ages. Removing the splash screen via grub fixes the
- problem. This happens from alpha4 (don't know if it could have happened
- before, because i was using gutsy).
-
- Attached is the /var/log/boot file.
+ splash (the bouncing one) for about 5 minutes. Removing the splash
+ screen via grub fixes the problem. This happens from alpha4 (don't know
+ if it could have happened before, because i was using gutsy).

** Attachment added: "usplash.conf"
