Hi James, There's no packet loss during Ping from my machine. The reason I reported this issue under SSH is that both SSH and SCP had slow connection problems and I thought they use same protocol. Even though I don't have network problems, except SSH and SCP, I started to believe it might be a network problem (hardware, configuration, etc). Plus, I didn't see other people reporting a similar problem. So, I would like to withdraw my case unless someone else wants to investigate further. alper
