I have a broadcom card 4311 rev02. It is supported since the -11 kernel,
because a patch was included:

While in the firs period I was able to make it work with my WPA router, now I
have a continuous problem: some seconds after the first connection, it gets
disconnected. then hardly ever reconnects, but with the same behavior.
NOTE: I'm using network-manager, but I have also tried wpasupplicant with the
same results. I also have another laptop with ipw2200 that works fine.
I managed to collect some maybe useful information from
/var/log/messages /var/log/syslog and /var/log/daemon.log:
