Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: emesene
Hi,
I'd like to get a more current Emesene in Hardy. We have a quite old svn
snapshot right now. This snapshot was uploaded 3 days ago to Debian and
hasn't had any bugs yet, and it only had two (not counting the python-
xml dependency, which is packaging-related) since the initial release
(which happened almost one month ago), and they were already fixed
upstream. Upstream is also very active and responsive.
Since Emesene is a new package in Hardy and doesn't have any rdepends,
it won't have any regressions (plus I've tested this snapshot and it's
being tested in Debian too).
If 1.0 is released before the final release (and it should be, although
there's no fixed schedule) I'll request an exception for that one too,
providing it works fine.
Thanks,
Emilio
