I am just a humble user subscribing to this bug, not a Ubuntu help
person... I had problems a while back with Dapper, but I have had no
such problems with Gutsy and my IBM ThinkPad T43... I have the same HW
as I did with Dapper, I believe I am still using the ipw2200 driver, and
I am successful with network manager and WPA -- connecting to multiple
wireless routers. I have not found a case where I have been
unsuccessful.
Perhaps you could describe what HW you have, and what device you are
attempting to connect to... that would probably help the guys reading
this report.
