Public bug reported: Binary package hint: alpine
I have set up alpine to connect to an IMAP server. Every time I try to open the inbox I am prompted for my password. The password prompt is not the standard alpine prompt, but appears overlaid somewhere on the screen (or is sometimes completely invisible). I am often prompted in this way several times before the inbox is opened. I have managed to successfully open the inbox, but it is difficult. Another user appears to report the same problem at http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=709942 but no resolution has been posted there. I am using gutsy.
