This to me at least sounds more than a kernel issue than gnome-power-manager
itself, anyway, do you still experience this issue?, there has been a
considerable amount of time without any update in this report and there are a
lot of changes in kernel and g-p-m as well. Could you please try with the live
environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Hardy Heron?
