I just printed in both detailed and mike's style and they printed fine. I wish I would have canceled the print job though, I just went through roughly 400 pages :) OOPs!
Are you still being plagued by this issue? Another thing you might want to try, as it could be related to your printer or printer driver, is print it to PDF first and see how that works out for you? Just an idea, as I know some printers perform differently, meaning just because the problem affects you and your printer doesn't mean it will affect mine. My printer is an HP PSC-1610 Multifunctional, and thus far I haven't experienced the printing issues I have had with other printers.
