Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. Due your version of gnome-powe-manager, I suppose you're
using Ubuntu Gutsy. I'm using Hardy Heron up to date and I followed the
steps described above. I cannot reproduce this problem (my system
doesn't freeze). Would you test it again using the last version of
Hardy?
