Thank you for reporting this issue and helping to make Ubuntu even
better. auth-client-config by design is only for switching profiles
around and not a pam configuration tool. Most sites will only have a few
profiles that they need to use on their machines. auth-client-config can
help with deploying these profiles. pam configuration stacking is a
difficult problem and outside the scope of auth-client-config. Other
tools exist that may help with this, and also there is ongoing
discussion and work on how to best handle pam stacking in Debian (on
which Ubuntu is based).
