Public bug reported: Binary package hint: tremulous
I am using Ubuntu 7.10, Tremulous version 1.1.0-4, but with the TJW patch (http://www.trem-servers.com/index.php?page=downloads) Recently, after playing Tremulous in full screen mode, at random times, Tremulous freezes up, and the keyboard/mouse don't work. The sound starts playing like a broken record(repeating sound), and restarting X (Ctrl+Alt+Backspace) doesn't work. The only option is to do a hard reboot (reboot button on the physical computer), or by sending a sysreq through holding Alt+SysRq and typing REISUB. No errors are reported in the sys log. Attached are the outputs of lscpi -v and my xorg.conf. I have been unable to check trem status from terminal as my system is unusable after the freeze.
