No, it was not the install of Thunderbird. That was already on the
system and up-to-date. It was the dist-upgrade of Firefox 2 to Firefox
3 Beta 3 that started the problem, so the package should be left as
firefox.
As to preferred settings, I'm sure it was on Firefox prior to the
upgrade. I launch URLs from email several times a day and I'm sure that
was working before the upgrade and was one of the first bugs I noticed
after I completed the dist-upgrade to Firefox 3 Beta 3. The dist-
upgrade for F3B3 was the only upgrade available at the time, so I
thought I'd give it a try.
