Public bug reported:
- Ubuntu 8.04 Alpha 6
Latest updates as of 1600 EST, 07 Mar 08.
My wireless card no longer works. The last time I used Ubuntu 8.04 (I
have been gone for a while) was Alpha 4, and my wireless card was
working (Intel Pro Wireless 3945ABG rev 02), using the iwl3945 driver.
Now, Ubuntu 8.04 doesn't even know that my wireless card is there.
What's strange is that now also my compiz doesn't start (says it can't
enable desktop effects when I try), even though Hardware Drivers is
showing that I'm using the proprietary nvidia driver. Nothing has
changed, except for the updates. I haven't done any sort of
configuration adulterating. Please help, this is a show-stopper for me!
Let me know what I can do to help.
