Awen, I meant more that we compile the java code that is shipped in the debs with icedtea, it may be miscompiled currently since we are using gcj. I have tested it with various runtime java as well and it didn't work for me either, but compiling it with icedtea would take a lot of extra time which is why I haven't done that yet, since Ubuntu can't use it anyway until icedtea can go into main.
