I really hope this will be fixed. This a regression from Dapper, and it will concern more people in near future since ICH8 will continue to gain in adoption. Personaly i'm ok with using Dapper's kernel in Edgy, but doing this my Jmicron doesn't work, and I must install manually Nvidia's drivers since my card wasn't supported in 1.0.8762. So I vote for the resolution of this bug too ;-)
