Attached. I assume you mean the current /var/log/Xorg.0.log?

And to clarify: this was from an installation using the Hardy KDE4
LiveCD if it wasn't clear enough. Also, the only I had done between the
installation of Hardy and the installation was doing the apt-get update
then apt-get upgrade procedure.

This is the section xorg.conf that I had to change. Had to add the
entire display subsection.

Section "Screen"
        Identifier      "Default Screen"
        Monitor         "Configured Monitor"
        Device          "Configured Video Device"
        Defaultdepth    24
        SubSection "Display"
                #Modes   "nvidia-auto-detect"
                Modes "1600x1200"
