This bug appears to be corrected in Ubuntu hardy openoffice.org
1:2.4.0~rc2-1ubuntu3 so I have marked it as Fix Released. If after
upgrading you still have trouble with this issue please feel free to
reopen the bug.
It doesn't seem to use that much memory to open either (~ 169MB total used VSZ)
