Public bug reported:

Since the last updates, the SCIM-Help for special characters is
activated by default and shows a keyboard icon on the panel. If I want
to close it (rightclick on the panel icon), it appears again. Sometimes,
it switches the keyboard layout from German to something other (like
Chinese etc.) and I have to manually deactivate it.

To solve this problem, I've removed the packages "scim" and all related
packages. But I think that's not the best method. Why is it activated by
default and why I can't deactivate it? I think it is a bug but I'm not
really sure.
