Public bug reported:
Every single time recently when I've upgraded fglrx (feisty), X
applications are no longer able to spawn (they get a "cant connect to
display :0.0" type error).
I think it might be related to the stopping/starting of atieventsd, but
I have no idea.
I can't always easily restart X, as while I can exit from X, on restart
it "hangs at a blank screen" many times and requires me to either ssh in
or power off and on the machine.
** Affects: linux-restricted-modules-2.6.24 (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
