I am happily listening to music on my powerbook g4. For me the linux-
powerpc-smp images work fine.

ii linux-image-2.6.24-12-powerpc 2.6.24-12.19 -- audio stalls after
a few seconds.
ii linux-image-2.6.24-12-powerpc-smp 2.6.24-12.19 -- audio works fine.

Has anyone else had luck getting audio to work by using the smp image?
I've been using the smp kernel to get audio working since the problem
first started.

I've attached the results of 'diff config-2.6.24-12-powerpc
config-2.6.24-12-powerpc-smp'.
There's nothing easy that I can spot that make a difference.
