Public bug reported:
I tried the Ubuntu Hardy beta 6.
My windows installation is using Truecrypt 5.0a boot-system encryption.
(The boot drive is encrypted and I get to put in password on boot).
In Windows XP, I mounted the iso-file using deamon-tools, and choose Inside
windows install.
Typed the passwords and all fine.
System reboots - truecrypt bootloader comes up. All fine.
Ubuntu bootloader comes up - I get to choose Windows or Ubuntu.
I choose ubuntu.
Read error.
After awhile, the ubuntu loader screen finally comes up and it looks like it's
working.
After some time the system stops at "iniramfs". It does not go any further.
Rebooting and choosing "Windows" - it starts up fine and I can even
uninstall ubuntu without a problem.
Seems ubuntu install does not like the boot-drive encryption. Too bad.
Support put in at a later beta?
Regards
UH
