Binary package hint: linux-restricted-modules-2.6.24-11-386
On a Dell Precision M6300 the Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG was last
detected Mar 3. I assume something in one of the updates on or close to
this date must have broken the automatic detection. It seems possible to
me that the ipw3945d was not updated by the linux-restricted-modules
matching my kernel.
In my logfiles, I can see that the wireless connection was last time
detected (and working) on Mar 3.:
