Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.24-12-generic
After the most recent kernel upgrade to 2.6.24-12 in Hardy, sound no
longer functions on my laptop. My audio device is not found. I
verified that switching back to 2.6.24-11 fixes the problem. The
following information about my system may be useful:
