Would you be able to test the latest Hardy Alpha release:
http://www.ubuntu.com/testing and just add a comment that the issue
still exists or not (and include your dmesg output as you have been
doing). I'll see if I can nudge the kernel team to take a peek. Also,
note that we'll keep this report open against the actively developed
kernel bug against 2.6.20 and 2.6.22 this will be closed. Thanks.
