I'm up to date on everything now and resume is still hanging. Requires
holding the power button to shut off and then reboot.

It appears the graphics is hanging on resume, so I'm trying to approach
it from that angle.

When it resumes, the screen goes white, then the boarder starts fading.
There's a periodic flicker of HD activity, but both the USB keyboard and
the built-in keyboard are dead. So far, I haven't found any useful log
information, other than a message of "Unable to find swap-space
signature" several times in the dmesg log.
