could you retry with the last version of libloudmouth and see if the
issue still happening (I think this is the same bug as bug 198704)
to debug telepathy-gabble you must run:
gdb /usr/lib/telepathy/telepathy-gabble 2>&1 | tee gdb-empathy.txt
